Triveni Lights started in 1976 with Mr. R.K. Sonthalia as the proprietor at Sethi Industrial Estate, Mumbai where Fluorescent ballasts were manufactured. It got its first Corporate order from Ellora Paper Mills Ltd. The sales office was shifted to Birya House, Fort Mumbai. Initially the light fixtures were sourced for small offices at South Mumbai and from there it has moved on to manufacture of decorative light fittings and mastered the art of making crystal chandeliers particularly for the Hotel Industry ? Taj Group of Hotels being the first In the year 1988 it was registered under the Companies Act as Triveni Lights Pvt Ltd and got its first showroom at Centaur Hotel, Juhu Mumbai in 1994. Over the years, it has become one of the leading decorative light fittings manufacturer and suppliers to some of the best hotel chains and palaces in the world.
